Cocoa was surrendered to Animal Control by her owner along with another female and a male. Cocoa and Missy were both pregnant and Cocoa ended up giving birth to the first puppy in the kennel at Animal Control.

Both dogs were taken into foster care and puppies raised. Cocoa has weaned her 5 puppies and is now ready for adoption, she is crate trained and we are working on the house training also.

Cocoa is about 3-4 years old, and likes to play with our other dogs, she is good with young children and cats too. Cocoa has now been spayed, she weighs 15 pounds and is full grown.

Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person. There is also an application to be approved.
