Saving one animal will not change the world, but for that one animal the world will change forever.
It seems like that is all you hear on the news or read in the paper... trouble..again.. with a 'pit bull'. It also seems like either people hate them or love them. Just the word 'pit bull' can spark a heated debate. We could sit here and explain certain aspects of the breed OR we could send you to the people who specialize in the information and have covered every detail of the breed. Since we do have so much respect for the breed itself...we will point you in the right direction.
We would like you to know where we stand as a rescue. We DO foster pitbulls. As with all our animals, they must meet certain standards before they are adopted out. ANY animal that you adopt from us will have a loving personality and be accustomed to being a part of a FAMILY. Fostering our animals in our homes (always with other animals and often children) gives us plenty of insight on the foster's temperment. If we discover that the dog needs more specialized guidance or training than we can provide, we will find a reputable breed specific group that can help us.
The answer may not be as simple as you think.
