Misty is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, around 4 years old. Misty came from some people who were moving to an apartment and could not take her with them. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle. Misty is ok with other dogs and cats, but she is protective of her food, so she needs to be kept seperate at feeding time.

Misty weighs about 7 lbs. so she is very small. She has been spayed and is up to date on all of her shots. We also had Misty's teeth cleaned since they had a bit of plaque build up on them. She is doing good on housetraining, and she is crate trained.

Misty is a VIP, meaning she is in high demand for adoption and will quickly find a loving home, her adoption fee $150 is higher than the other pets in our rescue. Because of this, she will leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need expensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person. There is also an application to be approved.
