Beloved is a female rabbit that was "chased down" by one of the Animal Control officers, he took her in and put her in the cat room. No one called to say their pet rabbit had gotten out, so we took her in to our group as the first pet that is not a dog or cat.

Beloved is young, seems to be healthy, got a clean bill of health from our vet. She doesn't like dogs, she is scared of them, especially if they want to run after her. She is a little scared, and will run from people, but once she is in your arms she is ok.

Beloved needs to go to someone experienced with rabbits; either a home with no cats or dogs, or a place to keep her away from them. Our vet has not done a spay on a rabbit, so we will not have that done. So her new home will NOT have an un-neutered male rabbit, because well, they will "breed like rabbits".

We really arent' sure of her breed, we will be doing some more research online. Please fill out an application if you are interested in her. And we do call the vet reference, so if you don't have a vet, don't apply.

Her adoption fee is $40, she will come with most of the supplies we bought, and the food that she has left.

Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person.
