Welcome to PAWFirst!

Honeybear is a female Chihuahua mix, we think she has Pomeranian in her too. She is around 9 years old. She is shy at first, once she gets to know you she loves to sit in your lap.

Honeybear has some allergies, that show up as skin problems, it could be grass allergy. Once in a while, usually during the summer months, she has to have an allergy shot and be bathed in special shampoo. She does like to sit in the sun when the weather is nice, so she can't be allowed to do it so long that she breaks out.

Honeybear would not be good with young children, older ones around 10 would be fine. She tends to be possessive of her "people" when it comes to sharing attention with other animals, but she will play with the cat or run with another little dog once in a while. She doesn't care for dogs that are a lot bigger than her, she weighs about 9 pounds. She is mostly housetrained, but will have an accident in the house if she really needs to go out and is not let out.

Honeybear has been spayed, tested negative for heartworms and has had all of her shots. Her adoption fee is $100.

PAW First Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person.
