Pretzel and her puppies could not stay in their home any longer, so we took them in. She is a purebred, about 3 years old, who was a little neglected. She is a little nervous at first with new people, but once she gets used to you she wants to be with you all the time. She is working on house training, just needs to be watched and let out often. We think she doesn't want to go out for fear that she won't be let back in.
Pretzel weighs 10 pounds, she is a little thin, hopefully she will gain a couple of pounds after weaning the puppies. She has been treated for ear infections, an ulcer on her eye, and may have to have surgery on her eyelids for a condition that could have caused the ulcer. She tested negative for heartworms, is parasite free, up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed soon.
Pretzel's adoption fee is $125.
We prefer emails as our method of corresponding. We get many phone calls each day (about animals that need help and families who want to adopt). We simply cannot keep up with our calls. It is much easier for us to respond to emails when we have free time (often these are hours where most people are asleep).
