"King", is a Min Pin that was "rescued" from a bad situation by a very special woman that couldn't stand passing him by one more time. He is about 4 years old and in pretty bad health. He has hair loss from poor nutrition and mange, he is very underweight. The vet dipped him for the mange so he won't be contagious, and after lots of love and TLC and good food and vitamins, he should start growing hair again soon.
King did test negative for heartworms, he has been neutered and is up to date on shots. We will be testing him to see if he is house trained, which I doubt since he was kept on a chain outside. He does stay in a crate though and does not make any messes.
King seems to be a really sweet dog, and we think he is very appreciative for being taken from that situation, and given a second chance to be a loved and loving pet. We will update on how he is doing.
Please call to make an appointment to see him, or look for our next Adopt A Pet date on our Petfinder home page. Updated July 16.
Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person. There is also an application to be approved.
