Marko is a male Shih-Tzu, and we think that he might be mixed with something like a Maltese. Marko was found running loose with his brother Polo. They are both around 6 months old. Marko is very sweet, and seems to be doing well with the housebreaking, but he is starting to hike and we have caught him hiking on the wall once.

Marko has been groomed, and has had all of his shots, and has been neutered. Also, Marko has an ear infection, which may have been caused from not being groomed before, or the type of food he might have been eating, so we are giving him medicine in his ear daily to try to clear it up, and we also have him on some food that does not have any soy or by-products that Shih-Tzus and other small breeds can be allergic to.

Marko is a VIP, meaning he is in high demand for adoption and will quickly find a loving home, his adoption fee $200 is higher than the other pets in our rescue. Because of this, he will leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need expensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person. There is also an application to be approved.
