UPDATE: Theodore's brother Simon got sick and didn't make it, we found out he had distemper. So we tested Theodore and he showed a weak positive for distemper. He has had 3 of his puppy/distemper shots, so we are hoping that the distemper he "has" will just disappear after a while. The test that we did costs $45, so we will not be doing another one to see if it is gone. So, we can not guarantee his health, but our vet says that if he has made it this far without getting sick, he will probably never get sick with distemper. He is still growing and is healthy, at 11 weeks old he weighed 19.6 pounds, so he will be a big dog when full grown.
Theodore's brother Alvin has been adopted and is doing good also. So if you think Theodore is the right dog for you, please give us a call and fill out an application.
Theodore is a 4 month old Great Pyrenees and possibly Australian Shepherd mix. His mother was a feral dog that looked to be an Australian Shepherd mix and his father was the Great Pyrenees. Theodore is the biggest and the bravest of the three brothers.
Theodore's adoption fee is $75 with an additional $50 deposit that you will get back as soon as he is neutered.Theodore's weight: June 17 - 8.8 lbs, July 1 - 14 lbs, July 17 - 19.6 lbs.
Please call to make an appointment to see him, or look for our next Adopt A Pet date on our Petfinder home page.
Pets For Life Rescue has decided as a group not to ship our pets, the prospective owners must be able to come see the pets in person.
