Sissy is a possible Border Collie/Shepherd/ Husky mix around a year old. She and her brother, Tech, were rescued from Animal Control on their 'D-day'. Sadly, they had been abandoned by their previous owner and left their to die.

Sissy is very outgoing and would love to be an inside AND outside dog. UNfortunately, her curiousity got the best of her awhile back. She was playfully following around a neighborhood stray when she was led into the road. That is where her adventure ended. Her leg was shattered and it took some very painful surgeries and 6 whole weeks in a cast. Luckily, she has been able to recover. We are still a little apprehensive about allowing her to be placed with small children who may not realize that she has to be treated with care. She is super sweet and a little on the sensitive side. This girl aims to please and a gentle leader would be best for her.. It takes a little to earn her trust but once you have it... it is unconditional.

Miss Sissy loves loves loves her toys and spending days lounging in the warm sun. She is going to be someone's very special baby.

Sissy's medical care due to her injured leg has been extremely costly. Not to mention getting her ready for her forever home. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and parasite free.Her adoption fee is $150.
