Sky came from Animal Control with her siblings on Oct. 1, 2009 when their mother (a dachshund/terrier) was to be put to sleep. They had not even gotten their teeth in yet, they were only 4 weeks old.
We don't know anything about the dad, so it is a possibility they could become medium sized dogs. Though Sky is the runt, so she should be a small dog when full grown. They all have short and medium length hair, some is wiry and they have "beards".
The adoption fee is $100.
Sky is a cuddly, fun loving puppy. She likes to run and play, then sit on your lap to rest. She plays with the other dogs in the foster home, big and small. She has not been around cats.
Sky is 4 months old as of Jan, 2010. She is doing good with crate training and would love to become a part of your family. Sky will be an indoor dog, though she does like to run and play outside when the weather is good. She should not be left outside for a long time unsupervised, or all day or night. She is up to date on her shots, including rabies, and is on Interceptor for heartworm prevention, and she has been spayed. Sky weighs 8 pounds, so she will be a small dog when full grown.
