Description:
Gypsy is a big beautiful girl. She is definitely part Great Pyrenees
because she has the double dew claws on her back legs. We are not
sure what else she is mixed with? Maybe Border Collie or Samoyed?
She feels so much better after she was shaved down. Her hair was
very matted. But no worries because as you can see her hair is
even more beautiful since it has grown back out.
Gypsy was extremely thin when she was found on an old country
road. Now, she is protective of her food. Any issues can be
avoided by not feeding her around others. She also does show
aggression towards other dogs when they first meet but quickly
grows out of it once she realizes they are not going to hurt her. We
believe she does this simply because of how long she was out in the
middle of nowhere having to protect herself from other animals.
She is easily trained. She learned to go into her crate with only the
word 'bed'. She loves to roughplay with other dogs so we suggest
her not going to a home with small or senior dogs. She has not been
around cats so we cannot say whether she likes them or not.
Gypsy is housetrained and completely vetted. She was spayed,
vaccinated, had a hernia removed and Heartworm tested (which
was negative).
Please give Gypsy the forever home she deserves. Her adoption
fee is $150.
