Description:
Azalea is a sweet but kind of shy Pomeranian mix. We were told both parents were Pomeranians, but we believe she looks to be mixed, so we're guessing with a chihuahua since she is still very small. She is almost 7 months old, and weighs about 7lbs, so she might get to be 10lbs or so. She does have longer legs so it makes her look a little bigger. She is great with kids, although with any small breed I would not suggest them going to a home with tiny kids just because they might accidentally hurt the smaller breed dogs since they are so fragile. If you have kids, we can always meet and see how the react with each other to know for sure if it would be a suitable home for Azalea.
Azalea really loves other animals, she wants to play all the time. She even plays with cats and big dogs. Like other small breed dogs, she is scared with meeting new bigger dogs at first, but once she gets to know them she loves them! When she is done playing though, she loves to lay in your lap and take naps with you.
She is still needing more time with the house training. She is almost completely crate trained, which is the first step in house training. She does love to go outside, but sometimes I think she gets carried away playing and forgets to go outside, so she just needs to be let out often in order to be able to make no accidents inside.
When Azalea is ready to go, she will be spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped and started on hw prev. Her adoption fee is $200 to help cover these costs.
